Yehu is a credit-only microfinance institution that provides financial services to disadvantaged communities in rural Kenya. The company aims to empower rural marginalized entrepreneurs both socially and economically by enhancing access to innovative, affordable and sustainable financial solutions. The company has rapidly grown in the coastal region of Kenya in the last 15 years and successfully replicated its model in the eastern region of Kenya. The company currently serves more than 35,000 clients, almost a quarter of which are operating in agriculture, through 12 branch outlets.
